In December 2008 I contacted Marnie for the first time—I’d purchased new bedroom linen and needed some colour advice. She was very responsive to my needs/wants and was able to help me re-use old draperies which I really appreciated. She also listened to my ideas and was able to help me develop an overall scheme for my master bedroom and ensuite that involved a custom tablecloth, shower curtain and roman shade and new carpeting. I kept telling her that, between us we’d developed a master suite that would sell the house! Little did we know that five months later the house would be sold!
She helped me develop a cohesive plan for my new home which was desperate for a redo. She helped me with paint colours, flooring, window coverings and draperies—while listening to my ideas and providing guidance where required. The house now looks amazing—bright and cheery in contrast to the tired, depressing look it had when I bought it.
Marnie listens well—most important for a designer who has her client’s needs uppermost. She’s helpful and supportive and always delivers what she promises. I highly recommend her.
